Custom Quota Management

‍

We’re taking API quota management to the next level. With Custom API Quotas, you can now dynamically allocate quotas based on specific API call properties—not just transaction counts. Why it matters: This allows for more precise control over your API usage, aligning quotas with actual consumption patterns.

📌 Examples of what you can do:

• Set quotas based on token usage (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Mistral).

Enforce quotas based on payload values, like Google Distance Matrix API’s ‘Elements’ metric.

Go with the Retry Flow

Our new Retry Flow gives you full control over handling failed API requests, ensuring reliability while avoiding unnecessary retries. To learn more about this feature, head over to our documentation.

Key capabilities:

• Configurable Retry – Define retry conditions, limits, and backoff strategies.
• Status Code Conditions – Set the response codes which trigger retries.
• Metrics Integration – Track retry behavior in real time.
